Workshop: Thesis writing
Karolinska Institutet invites doctoral students to a one-day kappa workshop:
30th of September
4th of November
16th of December
About the workshop: After a lecture on how to write your kappa, you will work on your own draft, receiving hands-on help with structure and language, both from the other participants and from the teachers. If you have started writing your kappa, you will submit your draft a week before the workshop. However, it is not mandatory to have a draft to participate in the workshop.
The workshop takes place 9.00-17.00 on Zoom and is held in English.
After the workshop, the doctoral student should have a better understanding of how to:
- structure the thesis in line with https://staff.ki.se/content-of-the-thesis
- use the language in a more effective way
- revise the thesis
Eligibility: Doctoral students in the later part of their studies. Applicants who have started writing their kappa and/or are close to their doctoral defense will be given priority.
Prior to course start: Submit your kappa draft one week prior to course start to: email@example.com
Application: Send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org using the application form. Applicants will be accepted continuously, and the application period will close when the maximum number of participants has been reached.
