Workshop: Thesis writing
Karolinska Institutet invites doctoral students to a one-day kappa workshop:

24th of February
27th of April
15th of June
About the workshop: After a lecture on kappa-writing, you will get feedback on your kappa draft, and receive hands-on help with structure and language, both from the other participants and the teachers.
If you have started writing your kappa (not a requirement to participate in the workshop), you will submit your draft two weeks before the workshop. One week later, you will receive a kappa draft from another PhD student to read as a preparation for the workshop.
The workshop is in English, from 09.00-17.00 on Zoom.
After the workshop, the doctoral student should have a better understanding of how to:
- structure the thesis in line with https://staff.ki.se/content-of-the-thesis
- use the language in a more effective way
- revise the thesis
Eligibility: Doctoral students in the later part of their studies. Applicants who have started writing their kappa and/or are close to their doctoral defense will be given priority.
Two weeks before the course start: Submit your kappa draft to: anna.hildenbrand.michelman@ki.se
Application: Send your application to anna.hildenbrand.michelman@ki.se using the application form. Applicants will be accepted continuously, and the application period will close when the maximum number of participants has been reached.
