Living and Food environment analysis in schools and workplaces

PREVENT is an EU-funded collaborative initiative aimed at scaling up the primary prevention of cancer by addressing childhood and adolescent obesity. The project combines innovative technology with child-led data collection and active engagement strategies to promote healthier dietary habits from a young age.

The FOODSHIFT Pathways constitutes an innovative project that aims to provide educational communities with tools and ideas to educate the younger generation and guide them towards a sustainable future, focused on fighting the food crisis.

The AdSafe project aims at evaluating differences in food marketing exposure and health-related behaviors in student populations from Swedish neighborhoods with different socioeconomic characteristics.

The Digifood project uses a children-centric citizen science methodology to record and evaluate the exposure of children to food advertisements through popular digital social media platforms, with a focus on ultra-processed foods marketing. 

The Unifood project evaluates differences in food advertisements among different Swedish cities and neighborhoods, taking into consideration the usual spots where students hang-out.

The SPLENDID project aimed to investigate the complex relationship between human behavior, such as eating habits and physical activity, and the risk of developing obesity or eating disorders, in order to identify effective prevention and intervention strategies.

The BigO was an EU-funded research initiative, aimed at investigating the role of genetic and environmental factors in childhood obesity, with a focus on early interventions and prevention strategies.
