Structure and Function of the Eye – Maria Nilsson's team

Our research focuses on imaging the structures of the eye using a range of techniques and investigating their relationship with visual function. Through simple examinations, we aim to enable the early detection of changes associated with the risk of developing visual impairment. Clinically anchored, this research contributes to the development of knowledge and methods that support diagnosis, follow-up, and care planning at the intersection of ophthalmology and neurology.
