Courses and education on zebrafish

1. Laboratory animal science course zebrafish (EU module “Function A”)

This course (both the theoretical and the practical part) is required for being able to use zebrafish 5 days or older in scientific experiments. For registration, please email to KM Las-Edu las-edu@km.ki.se 

2. Hands-on zebrafish husbandry course

This is our annual husbandry course which we organize together with the zebrafish facility in Bodö (Norway). The 3.5-day hands-on course is primary directed to personnel and researchers working with zebrafish husbandry and veterinarians. The course is held at the Zebrafish Core Facility in November every year (week 46). The application opens in August and the maximum number of participants is limited to 12. 3. Practical course for zebrafish cryopreservation and IVF

This is our specific training course for zebrafish cryopreservation and IVF and is run by our specialist for these techniques. The minimum number of participants is two. 

4. Practical course for aquatic technique

This is our specific training course for aquatic technique and directed to staff managing Tecniplast zebrafish facilities. The minimum number of participants is two.
