StratRegen KI - PI Retreat 2025
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the StratRegen PI Retreat for your insightful discussions, constructive ideas, and great energy throughout the day. Together, we took meaningful steps toward shaping the future of our regenerative medicine community.

We would especially like to thank Clara Hellner and Pontus Holm for sharing valuable perspectives on the life science strategies and initiatives at Karolinska Institutet and Region Stockholm.
Thanks also to Fredrik Wessberg from CCRM Nordic and Knut Steffensen for leading an engaging discussion on recent developments and upcoming opportunities in the world of ATMPs.
The scientific program offered a rich mix of topics — from salamander heart regeneration and genetic alterations in blood cancer to spinal cord injury research — highlighting the diversity and depth of work within our community.
We were very pleased to welcome our Nordic colleagues Malin Parmar from the Lund Stem Cell Center, Kim B. Jensen from reNEW Copenhagen, and Anna Pasetto from the ACT Center in Oslo. Their contributions not only brought new ideas for collaboration but also offered valuable perspectives on how our own community is organized and where we can improve.
Although the program was extensive and the day full, the discussions remained dynamic and productive, with many useful inputs and reflections that will help guide StratRegen’s next steps.
Thank you all for making the retreat such a rewarding and inspiring day!
