Yuanhang Yang

Yuanhang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB) at Karolinska Institutet. His doctoral research focuses on epidemiological studies examining the interplay between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and kidney diseases. Before transitioning to this field, Yuanhang was a Marie Curie Early Stage Research Fellow in Denmark, where he investigated disparities in healthcare quality among vulnerable populations. He also has professional experience as a statistical programmer at Pfizer. Yuanhang holds a medical degree from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, and an MSc in Health Policy from VU Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
