Stina Hedström

My research focuses on post-COVID condition, with particular emphasis on cognitive functioning in individuals following mild to moderate COVID-19 infection. The primary aim of my research is to characterize the cognitive effects that may persist in post-COVID condition and to examine how cognitive symptoms develop over time.

By compiling results from neuropsychological assessments of individuals with post-COVID condition, and through collaboration with other researchers using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), I aim to delineate the challenges experienced by this patient group. Ultimately, this work seeks to contribute to more effective healthcare interventions and thereby improve quality of life for individuals living with post-COVID condition.
