I have a background in Economics and Public Health with a Master’s degree from Karolinska Institutet. I have been working in the research group Health Economics and Policy since 2011, and I have been registered as a PhD-student since 2015. Since 2012 I’m also employed by the Stockholm County Council. You can read more about my background and research project in this interview.
My research interest is in how the design of health systems impacts on various health system outcomes such as equity, quality, efficiency and health care costs. I primarily focus on the socioeconomic distribution of primary health care utilisation in relation to recent reforms (patient choice, increased private provision of care, changes in provider remuneration) in Sweden. Further information about my PhD-project can be found here.
