About me
In my role as coordinator at the National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (NASP), I am responsible for a medical record review project in Stockholm, which is part of a national research initiative. Using structured review templates, we have collected information on all individuals who died by suicide in Sweden in 2015, with the aim of systematically mapping healthcare interactions, psychosocial factors, and other relevant aspects. I also lead the StandBy project, which develops and tests a model for outreach crisis support to bereaved children and youth (aged 0-18) in Stockholm County after suicide. As a PhD student, my research focuses on exploring the pathways to suicide among youth in Sweden from a life-course perspective, as well as investigating the journey of bereaved individuals over at least ten years following the suicide.
