  • I am a senior researcher at Karolinska Instiutet (KI) and professor in working life
science at Karlstad University. I am associate professor (docent) at KTH
and I got my PhD at KTH on the thesis "The dangerous commitment" with
    professor Jan Forslin as Supervisor.

I recieved the HRM reserach price (HR Forskningspriset) in 2022 and the S:ta Ragnhildmedaljen in 2016.

  • I am in the board of Lars-Erik Lundbergs stiftelse.

  • My research embraces several, but connected, sub areas within working life science. The core of my publications contributes to the sub areas work

  • environment, digitalisation of work, co-workership (medarbetarskap), human resource management, leadership development, organisational change, project management, – all with a special focus on the work situation of the individual. I have mainly studied
  • industrial settings and municipalities.
My research is mainly qualitative, but also includes quantitative research
  • methods.

  • My subject areas for teaching are: human resource management, leadership, group development, stress, and sustainable work.

  • An overall perspective
  • that can summarize my educational standpoint is what I want to accomplish
  • with my teaching, I want to create an interest in my topic and give
  • undergraduate students opportunities to become good leaders and/or HR professionals, and thus create sustainable jobs, i.e. work that is sustainable from both economic and human
  • perspectives.
