About me
I am a Coordinator at the Unit of Occupational Medicine within the Institute of Environmental Medicine. My academic background is diverse and interdisciplinary. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Additionally, I have pursued studies in Human Geography, Public Health, and Labour Relations, my studies focused on the socio-political and health-related aspects of occupational environments.
I am also a Master's student at Karolinska Institutet (KI), enrolled in the Master's Programme in Work and Health, with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Health Management.
Within my research group, I am actively involved in supporting a variety of projects, including:
SweJEM (Swedish Job Exposure Matrix): This project involves the development and application of a comprehensive job exposure matrix to assess occupational exposures across different industries in Sweden. More information can be found here https://ki.se/en/imm/swejem
EuroJEM (European Job Exposure Matrix): Although details are to be announced (TBA), this project aims to extend the job exposure matrix concept to a European context, facilitating cross-country comparisons and collaborative research on occupational exposures.
Other Smaller Projects: I also contribute to several smaller-scale projects within the unit, which address various aspects of work and health.
