About me
I am a PhD student in epidemiology at the Centre for Cervical Cancer prevention (CCCE) within the Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology at Karolinska Institute. I have a background in the biological sciences, with a focus on immunology, including a research stay at La Jolla Institute in San Diego and a Master's degree in Global Health at Karolinska Institute. Together, this has shaped a multidisciplinary approach spanning biomedical sciences and population health.
PhD student, Karolinska Institutet, from 2025Master’s degree in Global Health, Karolinska Institutet, 2025Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Environmental Sciences, Bremen, 2023
Research
My research focuses on cervical cancer prevention, with a particular emphasis on HPV genotype-specific infection patterns and viral load, as well as screening performance, HPV vaccination, and health-related outcomes. I work primarily with national registry data to generate real-world evidence that can inform prevention and screening strategies across different populations.
