Clare Tazzeo

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Environmental Medicine (IMM) and the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society (NVS). I am originally from Canada and have been studying and practicing epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet since 2018. I recently defence my doctoral thesis, which focused on frailty trends, and progression, as well as healthcare utilization in older adults with frailty.

My research focuses on frailty in older adults. I am interested in how to best measure frailty, as well as understanding how different risk factors and
clinical events impact trajectories of frailty. Multimorbidity is another research interest of mine. I have looked into risk factors for incident mulitmorbidity as well as the relation between multimorbidity patterns and risk of frailty.
