The conference brought together researchers from across the Nordic region to highlight the current state of knowledge and future research within the post COVID field. Topics addressed during the conference included the definition of post COVID, vaccination and its effects, health economics and how post COVID impacts healthcare costs, post COVID in children, and research methodology in the field.

The conference also featured presentations from various Nordic countries with data from national cohorts and registries, providing opportunities to compare experiences and research findings across the region.

Among the invited speakers were members from KI’s network: Malin Nygren-Bonnier, Artur Fedorowski, and Mary Barker, who contributed expertise in clinical research on post COVID, POTS and post COVID, and research on mental health and post COVID. Participation from the KI network strengthens the dissemination of research within the network and promotes Nordic collaboration to develop interventions for patients with long-term COVID-related conditions.
