How the work is carried out

Four working groups with a total of 28 participants are working during the autumn. Each group is led by a Chair and meets three times in September and October.

The participants are not primarily involved as representatives of a unit or an interest, but as co-creators of a basis for IMM’s shared future. The work cuts across themes, units, generations and levels.

The groups will submit their material with recommendations to the department management on 12 November. On 26 November, the working groups and the management group will meet to review the material together. During December, the work will be summarised in a draft outlining direction and strategic choices.

The task of the working groups is to produce supporting material and recommendations. Decisions are made by the department management, and in some matters by KI centrally. Part of the work itself involves distinguishing between what IMM can decide independently and what IMM needs to influence together with others.
