KI has a global and professional network of alumni that have made the journey from student or researcher at KI to becoming successful within their respective fields and careers. These invaluable experiences can be a powerful resource for you as a student, researcher or alum looking to enhance your own goals and achievements as you make the same journey. We hope that you do find a mentor, establishing a rewarding connection for your future ambitions.

Who can apply for a mentor?

Members of KI Alumni, including students enrolled in bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral programmes.

How to search for a mentor

The platform has a search function that is free-form, and you can search for a number of keywords that fit your requirements, as well as categorise in terms of level of studies. You can also subscribe to the page with your listed keywords and categories, getting updates as soon as a new mentor is registered that fits any of those criteria. Just click the link below to start searching for mentors.

Important information for those interested in mentorship

If you are interested in becoming a mentee, please be aware that our mentorship system is volunteer-based from the alumni side and if an alum is willing to connect with you, it is up to the two of you to find a suitable format for the mentor/mentee collaboration.

You should also note that there are no guarantees for mentorship; there needs to be a positive connection and a mutual agreement between mentor and mentee, and if you do connect with an alum regarding mentorship, please be clear on your hopes and expectations to avoid misunderstandings.
