Strategy 2030
Karolinska Institutet's Strategy 2030 is a long-term plan that was established to guide the university's development until 2030. The strategy will strengthen KI's position as one of the world's leading medical universities. By focusing on groundbreaking research, high-quality education and strong international collaborations, the strategy will ensure that KI continues to contribute to scientific breakthroughs and better health for all.
Strategy 2030 is important as it helps KI to address the challenges of the future in medicine and health, adapt to a rapidly changing world, and promote sustainable development in line with the UN's 2030 Agenda. By following the strategy, KI is working not only to improve its own operations but also to make a positive impact on society and the world at large.
KI's Strategy 2030 was adopted by KI's Board of Directors, in 2019.
