The Small Molecule Mass Spectrometry Core Facility (KI-SMMS) - user guidelines
After an initial discussion with our core facility, your metabolomics, lipidomics or custom small molecule analysis are booked via the iLab system. A number of guidelines have been introduced to get access to the core services.
Operating guidelines
After discussion, but before submission of samples, the user is kindly requested to provide a brief description of the project. The user can choose between different levels of services.

After receiving your request, we will contact you to discuss a project. We will also provide a quote.
Afterwards, you will receive information on how to log-in the project using the iLab platform.
How to acknowledge the KI-SMMS
To support the KI-SMMS in future evaluations and applications, all users are required to acknowledge experimental results derived from work at the KI-SMMS in manuscripts submitted to publication. We would also appreciate mentions in scientific presentations.
