About me
I'm a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet in the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, working under the supervision of Hong Xu. I study the two-way relationship between kidney function and dementia — how kidney disease may influence cognitive decline, and how dementia might affect kidney outcomes. I primarily work with data from SveDem (the Swedish Dementia Registry) and the SCREAM cohort, along with other health registries. My research involves analyzing real-world clinical data using cross-sectional and longitudinal statistical models to better understand disease interaction.
Prior my PhD, I worked as a data analyst at the Institute of Advanced Clinical Medicine, Peking University, China, focusing on real-world medical data analysis. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy with a minor in Clinical Psychology from Sun Yat-sen University in China, and a master’s in Public Health from the University of Sydney, Australia.
