About me
I am an experienced bioinformatician with a PhD in computational biology, focusing on integrating omics data and statistical models to address complex biological problems. Currently, I work as a System Developer in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet. My role involves processing and managing large-scale clinical, registry, and health data, implementing advanced statistical models, and automating workflows to streamline research processes.
My expertise spans data integration, analysis, and visualization using Python, R, SQL, and cloud computing platforms. I specialize in leveraging machine learning and advanced statistical methods to uncover actionable insights from complex datasets. In addition, I have significant experience with bioinformatics tools, genome browsers, and omics datasets, contributing to my ability to handle interdisciplinary research challenges effectively.
In my doctoral research, I developed a cross-cohort classification framework for asthma, identifying molecular and clinical signatures through enhancer-mediated gene regulation. I continue to build on this expertise by contributing to cutting-edge projects in biostatistics and clinical data analysis.
