About me
- I am a physician and PhD student at Karolinska Institutet. My research focuses on post-COVID condition (PCC), with a particular interest in fatigue and cognitive dysfunction. By combining advanced neuroimaging techniques and plasma biomarker analyses, I aim to improve our understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying persistent symptoms after COVID-19.
Research
- My research interests include post-COVID condition, fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, neuroimaging, cerebral perfusion, neuroinflammation, blood-brain barrier function, and plasma biomarkers. I am particularly interested in understanding the biological mechanisms that contribute to persistent neurological symptoms and in identifying objective markers that can improve diagnosis, patient stratification, and future treatment strategies.
