Research

  • I am currently establising independent research in the field of large-scale epidemiology of dermatological conditions. The main focus is on Autoimmune Blistering Disorders, a group of particularly severe dermatological diseases which are not uncommonly fatal. I also have ongoing projects in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, mastocytosis, skin cancers, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and more. Furthermore, I perform clinical studies and pilot treatment studies.

  • My broad epidemiological research scope currently involves both national (Karolinska Institutet, Uppsala University, University of Gothenburg) and international (Univestity of Lübeck, UCLA, Rush University Medical Center Chicago, Technical University of Munich) collaborations.

  • I am always on the lookout for highly motivated individuals to supervise and form new research collaborations with. Don't hesitate to reach out!
