I lead independent research in the large-scale epidemiology of dermatological conditions. One main focus is on Autoimmune Blistering Disorders, a group of particularly severe dermatological diseases that can be life-threatening. My work also spans autoimmune, immune-mediated, and inflammatory conditions, as well as skin cancers and related disorders. In addition to epidemiological studies, I conduct clinical research and pilot treatment studies.

My research benefits from multiple national and international collaborations, including:
