About me

  • I am responsible for communications and public relations at Karolinska Institutet. Please contact me if you have any questions.

    I have been working at KI since March 2018, first in the role as Chief Press Officer and now as the Director of Communications. My educational background is political science and journalism.

    Previously, I was head of unit at the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) with responsibility for media relations, public intelligence, strategic communication and crisis communication. Most recently, I came from the Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten), where I was in charge of various national projects and government assignments in the field of public health and infectious diseases.

    I have also worked for about ten years as a writer / reporter and news editor.
