Max Sannemalm

I am a licensed psychologist and a PhD student in Christian Rück’s research group at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet. I also work as a clinical psychologist at OCD-programmet and as a research and development coordinator at Psykiatri Sydväst. 

My research interests focus primarily on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related conditions, including tics and Tourette syndrome. In my PhD project, I evaluate the Bergen 4-Day Treatment for OCD compared with standard individual cognitive behavioural therapy.

I regularly lead seminars on psychiatric conditions and clinical assessment as part of clinical courses within psychology degree programme. I also regularly teach OCD and exposure-based treatment.
