I am a lecturer at the Study Programme in Nursing and received my doctorate in Psychiatry from Karolinska Institutet in 2012. My research has been focused on individuals treated for suicide attempts, HIV, and cancer, respectively. I am a junior researcher in Lampic & Wettergren research group at KI and I am currently involved in the development of a web-based intervention targeting young adults with sexual problems and fertility-related distress following cancer.
My main subject areas of competence are within psychology, psychiatry and scientific methods. I have been teaching in higher education regularly since 1999, mainly lecturing, at the study programmes in nursing, medicine and psychology, respectively. Since 2012 I am involved in the education at Karolinska Institutet’s Nursing Programme.
I am responsible for the course Nursing in Mental Health and Psychiatry at campus and am also lecturing, leading seminars, designing and examining written examinations, and conducting half time assessments at clinical placements. I am also responsible for the course Scientific Theory and Research Methods at the distance programme including supervison and examination of students. I am also a supervisor and examiner in the course Degree Project in Nursing. Aside from the Nursing Programme, I am teaching in the course General principles for scientific work at the Master's Programme in Clinical Medical Science (Magisterutbildningen). I am also a co-supervisor of doctoral students.
