About me
- I am an Assistant Senior Lecturer and a member of the research group Leadership in Healthcare and Academia at the Medical Management Center at LIME, where approximately 50% of my time is dedicated to research and 50% to education. As a researcher, I serve as the project coordinator and work package leader in an EU-funded project, Magnet4Europe.
In the field of education, I am responsible for the commissioned education courses Leadership and Organizational Development 1, 30 ECTS credits, and Leadership and Organizational Development 2, 30 ECTS credits. Together, these courses lead to a master's degree in the subject of Medical Management.
Research
- My research focus revolves around healthcare organizations and the significance of the work/care environment for the quality of care and patient safety in acute hospitals. I am also interested in how work processes and healthcare expertise can be optimally utilized to promote good and safe care for patients. Another area of focus is the interaction between the individual and the organization, exploring how synergies can be created where staff feel they have the opportunity and conditions to contribute their expertise to its fullest potential. This, in turn, can lead to a more stable workforce and a more attractive workplace.
In an exciting new research project, Magnet4Europe, funded within the EU's research program Horizon 2020, we are following the implementation of the Magnet Hospital organizational model in 65 hospitals across Europe, including three hospitals in Sweden. In addition to Sweden, Germany, England, Ireland, Norway, and Belgium are also participating. Read more about Magnet4Europe here: [Link to Magnet4Europe information].
