Katarina Brdarski

I am the manager for the Coordination and Brand unit at the Communications Department. Contact me if you have thoughts and questions about internal and external communication, communicative organizations, communication by managers, KI’s brand, and the Communication Consultants.

The unit provides advice and support in planning and producing communication for employees and managers at KI. The communikation officers coordinate and carry out communication activities related to priority projects and issues at the university level. Additionally, they offer tools and methods for planned communication and provide training for managers and leaders, including communication leadership.

We are also responsible for nurturing and strengthening KI’s brand and providing support in graphic design and profiling. Our team initiates, maintains, and develops external collaborations within the communication field to enhance dialogue with the university’s target audiences.

Within the unit, we have KI’s Communication Consultants, which offers communication support closely tied to the operations of institutions, departments, and major projects through the internal consultants of the Communicator Pool.

I hold a Master’s degree in Communication from Lund University (2002) and also have degree in languages from Uppsala University (1997).

I have worked with communication in both in the private and public sectors. I have held managerial positions at the Swedish Research Council, Södertörn University, and the National Board of Health and Welfare.
