Karen Oquin

I am an experienced public health professional with a comprehensive background in suicide prevention, alcohol, narcotics, doping, and tobacco (ANDTS), youth mental health, and healthy aging. With a strong foundation in public health principles and practices, I have dedicated my career to improving the well-being of diverse populations through targeted interventions and collaborative initiatives. 

My work as a PhD student will build upon my previous professional experience with a focus on suicide prevention from a public health perspective.

My research project is entitled: Low-intensity public health interventions in suicide prevention: evaluation of implementation and scalability in the Swedish context
