About me
- Recent neuroscience graduate from the University of Amsterdam with a special interest in the biological and psychological mechanisms that are involved in long-term pain. I've studied the presentation of rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia pain at the University of Oxford, the use of neuroimaging techniques to explore brain functional changes and their relationship to neuroinflammation in patients with knee osteoarthritis at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, and am excited to develop my knowledge of pain and neuroimaging further in the Jensen Lab.I am particularly interested in research that will help illuminate the mechanisms of and potential treatment targets for long-term pain, as well as research that will contribute to tangible improvements in the lived experience of people with pain disorders.
