Helena Kopp Kallner

I am professor at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden and senior consultant in

Obstetrics and Gynecology at Danderyd Hospital.
My research group focuses on research in the field of hormones, contraception,

abortion and fibroids and adenomyosis in addition to obstetrics.
I am principal investigator of several ongoing academic as well as
sponsored clinical trials. The methods encompass translational research to
clinical studies and epidemiology.
I am president of the working group on family planning in Sweden and a

member of the FIGO contraception committee  as well as former president

of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive health. 
I am is a frequent lecturer on the subject of hormonal influences on mood,

as well as the topics of abortion, contraception and treatment of fibroids.

I am responsible for the medical students training on obstetrics and gynecology and Danderyd Hospital. This encompasses course design, devlopment and execution as well as examinations. I teach at all levels from nursing, midwifery and medical students to advances courses in research methodolgy and advanced level courses for clinicians concerning hormones, contraception and abortions
