About me
Lic. psychologist and PhD student within the field of addiction, with a great interest in climate psychology, sustainability and planetary health. I have also worked with physical activity the last 15 years, and I am driven by a holistic approach to well-being.
Research
My PhD studies aims to first explore the opportunities and barriers to- and subsequently the effects of- implementing internet-based interventions for alcohol, cannabis, and gambling addiction within social services. The hope is that this will contribute to making addiction care more equitable across the country, improving working conditions for social services staff, and lowering the barrier for individuals with substance use or gambling problems to seek help, both generally and from social services specifically.
I am also involved in several other research projects. Among other objectives, these aim to improve climate efforts within healthcare, investigate 'demanding-free dance' (dance without requirements) as a complementary intervention in addiction care, and develop a new screening tool for holistic health in primary care.
A minor part of my position involves clinical work at the Liljeholmsberget addiction clinic, where I primarily conduct assessments and facilitate Braining- high-intensity group workouts for both patients and staff.
Teaching
I teach the course Introduction to Social, Economic, and Environmental Sustainability and Health at the Division of Psychology.
I also teach global health within the Physiotherapy Programme, lead seminars in the Psychology and Medical Programmes, and lecture on Introduction to Psychology within the Social Work Programme at Marie Cederschiöld University.
