About me
I am a licensed psychologist with an MSc from Uppsala University. Since I received my degree in 2017, I have worked in the field of work and organizational psychology, mainly with psychological testing, assessments, and group and leadership development. Parallel to my psychology studies I also worked as a cabin crew for six years. Since January 2021, I am a doctoral student at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Division of Psychology.
Research
My research interest lies mainly in the conditions of modern working life and what consequences these have for individuals' health and safety work within organizations. Specifically, my interest is how working conditions and organization can be linked to safety within complex high-risk organizations. I work in the projects “Sustainable flight safety - Developing instruments for identifying key risk factors, and models for interventions that enable proactive and sustainable flight safety work” and “Feeling the Cabin Pressure? Organizational and Psychosocial Factors Associated with Health and Safety Risks among Cabin Crew”. The project examines the flight safety consequences of pilots' and cabin crews' working conditions -
- as well as how sustainable safety can be created within the framework of the special conditions that prevail in aviation.
Teaching
I teach in the Psychology Programme, specializing in Work and Organizational Psychology, primarily for students in Semesters 5 and 6. Additionally, I supervise candidates and master's theses.
