About me
- I am a member of the Health Economics and Policy Research Group [1] who
conduct research on how resources are used to contribute to effective care
and health improvements. I am also employed by Region Stockholm at the Centre
for Health Economics, Informatics and Health Care Research [2].
I have a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics (one year), with
economics as main field of study from Stockholm’s University and a Master
of Science degree in Medical Science (two year), with health economics,
management and policy as main field of study from Karolinska Institutet. I
defended my dissertation in 2021 at Karolinska Institutet.

Research
- I participate in the NORCHER project [1], which is a Nordic collaboration
where we compare and analyze utilization, productivity, results and costs in
healthcare between the Nordic countries.
My doctoral dissertation focused on how benchmarking together with big data
from patient and population registers can be applied to measure performance
from different perspectives and levels in healthcare. The title of the
dissertation is "Hips don’t lie – the use of benchmarking and register
data to assess the performance of orthopaedic care" and you can read more
