About me
I'm a second year PhD student at Brodin Lab in the Division of Clinical Pediatrics, Department of Women and Children's Health. My research combines single-cell spatial proteomics with clinical and pediatric samples to investigate how commensal microbes influence immune development and regulation, and how immune dysregulation arises in immune mediated inflammatory diseases. By profiling spatial organization of surface proteins on immune cells after stimulation with microbial components and metabolites, the project aims to uncover novel immune phenotypes and cell-cell interaction networks that are altered in immune-mediated inflammatory diseases and during early-life immune maturation for the development of new biomarkers and immunotherapies.
