Elisabeth Dahlbäck

I am a specialist physician in Occupational and Environmental medicine currently working at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in Lund, Sweden. In my professional role I meet both patients and organizations in matters concerning the relationship between work, health, and disease. I am also a PhD student at Lund University and affiliated with Karolinska institutet, where I conduct part of my research. 

I am particularly drawn to questions that lie at the intersection of organizational structures, mental health, sickness absence, rehabilitation and the coordination between public healthcare and occupational health services. My ambition is to pursue doctoral studies within this field and thus contribute to interdisciplinary research that can generate more practical knowledge for employers and healthcare providers, ultimately promoting healthier workplaces and sustainable working lives.
