David Abbad Gomez

I’m a medical resident (MD) from Barcelona, Spain. I finished my Medicine degree back in 2020 in Barcelona, starting my medical specialization in 2021 in the National Health System in Spain. I am currently specializing in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Hospital del Mar from Barcelona, focusing on Epidemiology and Healthcare Evaluation. I have been working with the hospital and its research centre, previously known as IMIM (Institut Mar d’Investigació Mèdica), as well as Primary Care coordination and evaluation services. I enrolled in the Master in Public Health at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), focusing my master thesis in Long-Term Breast Cancer Survivors (LTBCS) and Multimorbidity. In 2023, I started my PhD at the same university, continuing the research topic with a multicentric cohort of Spanish LTBCS, expanding the multimorbidity research and starting a health economics approach.
