Cen Chen

I am a postdoctoral researcher in dementia epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on heterogeneity in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. My work combines nationwide registry data with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers to study variation in cognitive trajectories and underlying pathology. During my PhD, I investigated comorbidity in psychopathology using nationwide Swedish registers and the Swedish Twin Register, examining its links to genetics and health outcomes. I have expertise in large-scale longitudinal data analysis and register-based research. My research aims to improve understanding of variation in brain health and support more precise approaches to cognitive disorders.
