Research

  • My research field is:
    Rehabilitation medicine and physiotherapy
Rehabilitation in rheumatic diseases with focus on autoimmune connective
tissue diseases. My research within this area, for the moment, deals with:
-Studies regarding physical function/capacity, physical activity and
health-related quality of life in people with systemic sclerosis,
associations with lung function and subtype of the disease, and effects of
    physical exercise
-Studies regarding physical activity, exercise and life-style habits in
    systemic lupus erythematosus
    -Psychometric studies on patient-reported outcomes
I am, since 2019, the study group leader of the European League Against
Rheumatism (EULAR) non-pharmacological treatment of autoimmune connective
