About me

  • I am a specialist nurse with several years of clinical experience mainly from
elder care. Since 2017 I have worked in the City of Stockholm as a facilitator of
    collaboration between university and municipalities.
One of my goals with my work is to increase the possibilities for
collaboration and thereby reduce the gap between academia and elder care.
Within the framework of my employment I am a
PhD student at the division of nursing. My research builds and expands
on earlier and ongoing research within the DöBra research program.
My doctoral project is an action research project in which we explore the implementation of proactive End-of-Life
conversations between residents and/or family members in Residential Care Homes.
We aim to explore EoL conversations and its impact from the perspective of residents, family, staff and management.
Additionally I am a project leader for a three-year-long collaborative project aiming at facilitating collaboration between KI educational programs and municipalities.

I am affiliated to SWEAH, the National Graduate School on Ageing and Health
