About me

  • I am a committed and experienced teacher and researcher in medical science and physiotherapy, with a background in both education and research. Through my assignments and with a PhD in Medical Science and an MSc in Medical Education, I have a broad competence profile that includes physiotherapy in the health of the elderly, leadership and improvement work, international collaboration, education and learning.

Research

  • I am an active member of the research group MINT, led by Karl Karlgren at the department LIME, Karolinska Institutet. My research interests are professional development, learning and education and include student learning and the use of digital resources in anatomy, as well as sustainable development and sustainable healthcare in physiotherapy education.

Teaching

  • I have worked as a lecturer, teacher and course leader mainly in physiotherapy but also in an interprofessional context. The focus has mainly been geriatrics and professional development and learning. I have developed distance-based master's programs and online courses for an international context, and supervised master's theses in physiotherapy and medical education. Editor and co-author of the book Att lära och utvecklas i sin profession, (2015) Lund: Studentlitteratur. Member of the Academy of Education at KI since 2016.
