Ann-Christine Persson

Registered Occupational Therapist, PhD in Clinical Medical Science.

My research primarily focuses on time management and time-processing ability in persons with dementia and acquired brain injury. I am involved in an international research collaboration between Sweden, Japan, and India, focusing on the assessment of time management and time-processing ability, as well as the evaluation of assistive technologies for persons living with dementia. In addition, I am the principal investigator of a national research project commencing in 2026 that will investigate time-processing ability and daily time management in adults with acquired brain injury in the subacute phase, with focus on assessment, prevalence, and impact on daily life.

Alongside my research activities, I serve as Unit Manager of the Highly Specialized Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Danderyd University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden.
