Ann Almqvist

As controller, I oversee various aspects of our operations, including co-financing and the creation of budget templates in accordance with MEB’s policies and those of the funding agencies as well as KI. My responsibilities include examination and approval of all application budgets within the department, as well as the management of the financial database "avtalsreskontran."

I am comprehensively involved in the running financial tasks at the department and have responsibility for handling contracts with international grant organisations. My role encompasses the intricate calculations, documentation, and processing involved in co-financing. I provide counselling and information to researchers on grant application processes, guiding them on rules and regulations, budgets, and related matters. Additionally, I am responsible for creating, reviewing, and approving financial reports submitted to both national and international funding agencies.

I serve as one the elected safety representative and union representatives (SACO) at MEB.
