About me

  • I am a public health scientist and epidemiologist by training. Currently based on the Unit of Integrative Epidemiology, Institute of Environmental Medicine.

Research

  • My main research interests lie at the intersection between mental health, physical health, and social welfare. Using both Swedish national registers and surveys, I have been focusing on the following research area:

    • Predictors and consequences of perimenopausal depression
    • Mental health outcomes among healthcare and social care workers
    • Working-life expectancy among workers with various mental and somatic health conditions
    • Parental mental disorders and the consequences for children's physical health and social outcomes
    • Mental disorders as risk factors for somatic disorders
    • Risk factors and consequences of road traffic injuries
