The Animal Behavior Core Facility (ABCF)
The Animal Behavior Core Facility (ABCF) is the new core facility at Karolinska Institutet for behavioral studies in mice and rats. ABCF is designed to provide optimal environment, state-of-the-art instrumentation and technical/educational support to perform behavioral tests ranging from basic phenotype characterization to advanced analyses.
About ABCF
The Animal behavior core facility consists of two nodes, Node KM-B in Solna and Node PKL in Flemingsberg.

Access and booking
The Animal Behavior Core facility is open to all researchers who have access to KM-B and PKL.
User fees
Users pay a one-off access fee of Sek 2000, which includes an introduction to the equipment and the rules at ABCF. Advanced courses on specific methods and instruments are also available at Sek 5000.
