STOP Leg Clots - an international multicenter study to investigate if the addition of mechanical thromboprophylaxis via intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) during lower leg immobilization after Achilles tendon rupture or ankle fracture can reduce the risk of blood clot formation and stimulate healing.
