Stockholm Trio alumni event in Brussels
In connection with the three Presidents of Stockholm Trio being in Brussels, an event was organized to bring together alumni in Brussels and the surrounding area.
On 2 December, more than 100 people gathered at the prestigious University Foundation for a long-awaited and joyful alumni event that began with a speech by the Ambassador to Sweden in Belgium, Johanna Brismar Skoog. This was followed by a panel discussion on the theme of democracy, academic freedom, and responsible internationalization, led by Maria Gustafson, Head of Research Support Office, KTH. Eager questions were also asked by the audience.
Afterwards, there was a lively mingle with finger food and drinks, and to celebrate the Advent season, The Swedish Choir performed a beautiful Lucia procession.
Many alumni expressed their appreciation that an alumni event was finally held in Belgium, and the hope is to organize another one in the near future to keep the alumni network active in the region.
