Opportunities for incoming doctoral students within NeurotechEU at KI

Through KI's participation in the university alliance NeurotechEU, we can provide opportunities for doctoral students within the alliance to carry out training at KI.

Doctoral courses

Karolinska Institutet offers a large number of doctoral courses every semester. The courses are free of charge and open for doctoral students from partner universities within NeurotechEU.  The courses are arranged within doctoral programmes, research schools or as freestanding courses and are presented in the course catalogue.

Application is made online via the course catalogue and open for about three weeks, starting approximately on 15 April (for autumn courses) and 15 October (for spring courses). If interested go to Applying for doctoral courses.

If you are interested to do a course after deadlines or under other circumstances please inquire with the KI NeurotechEU project office.

Other mobility opportunities

There are possibilities to participate through exchange opportunities, and participation in joint academic initiatives. Opportunities are regularly communicated on ki.se and also on the NeurotechEU website.

You can also visit research teams at KI working on NeurotechEU-related projects and gain hands-on experience with expert mentorship by reaching out to PIs and groups directly.

Campus+ - virtual courses

The Campus+ platform presents a collection of both credited and non-credited courses offered across the NeurotechEU partner universities. The credited courses are primarily delivered on campus and are designed to encourage physical mobility, allowing students to experience diverse academic environments, access unique expertise, and build cross-university networks.

The non-credited courses give students the chance to gain new skills, experience different academic environments, and engage directly with peers and experts across Europe.
