EUHA, the European University Hospital Alliance
EUHA, the European University Hospital Alliance, is an organization of leading European university hospitals working together to develop and improve university hospital care with a focus on care, education and research. Karolinska Institutet is involved through Karolinska University Hospital's membership in EUHA.
The mission of the EUHA
The mission of the EUHA is:
- To promote excellence and innovation in healthcare, research and education, by comparing practices and patient outcomes, providing knowledge exchange opportunities for staff, and collaborating in research and development projects.
- To emphasize the essential role of university hospitals within health systems by formulating and offering advice to policymakers and interacting with industry, patient organisations and other health care stakeholders.
The EUHA mission and strategy is implemented through working groups and networks composed of representatives from member organizations.
