Logopedi forskningsområde

Enheten för logopedi bedriver forskning inom fyra större områden: röststörningar, utvecklingsrelaterade kommunikationsstörningar, förvärvade kommunikationsstörningar samt ät- och sväljsvårigheter.

Kommunikationsrelaterad forskning med fokus på målgruppen individer med hörselnedsättning kan således förekomma inom samtliga områden, men har hittills varit mest representerad inom utvecklingsrelaterade och förvärvade kommunikationsstörningar.

Forskning om kommunikation och hörsel vid enheten för logopedi bedrivs i nära samarbete med Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, Medicinsk Enhet Öron, Näsa, Hals – Hörsel och Balans, samt med externa forskare och lärosäten, beroende på studiernas fokus.
