Patient and Public Involvement in Practice: What Healthcare Researchers Can Learn from Aphasia Research

A seminar with Marina Charalambous, Cyprus University of Technology, Malin Bauer, Uppsala University. Kajsa Söderhielm, Karolinska Institutet. Mathilda Cederlund, the Aphasia Association. 

The seminar provides an introduction to PPI, followed by practical examples from the field of aphasia. To include the perspective of lived experience, Matilda Cederlund, who has aphasia following a stroke and has taken part in co-designing a training app, will share her expertise together with researchers from Cyprus and Sweden.

Re-organizing expert work without the building: When the hospital loses its walls med Professor Currie Graeme, Warwick Business School, University of Warwick.

KI Global Bridges in collaboration with Förvaltningshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet. 

Graeme Currie is Professor at Warwick Business School, whose research focuses on topics including the organization, leadership, and professional work of healthcare practitioners and organizations. During the seminar, he will present his work on the theme “Re-organizing expert work without the building: When the hospital loses its walls”.

The seminar is organized by the Förvaltningshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet in collaboration with Global Bridges and SFO-V at Karolinska Institutet, as part of Graeme Currie’s visit to Sweden.

The seminar will be held in English.
